Berry Vanilla Protein Smoothie

A simple way to incorporate protein and nutrients into your day to support inflammation regulation, hydration and fight against unintended weight loss

Protein Smoothies offer an approachable, flexible way to incorporate meaningful nutrition throughout the day, especially when full meals may feel overwhelming, or appetite fluctuates. This is an easy, practical option designed to provide protein, healthy fats, hydration, and nutrient-dense calories that help support energy, muscle maintenance, and overall wellness.

How This Protein Smoothie Comes Together

The beauty of this recipe lies in its simplicity and accessibility, making it easy to incorporate into daily life without extensive preparation.

For the Simple Protein Smoothie, ingredients are added directly into a blender: milk, fruit, berries, and protein powder. Once blended, the mixture becomes creamy, naturally sweet, and easy to sip. This smoothie can be enjoyed all at once or split into smaller portions throughout the day for those who may struggle with larger meals.

Why These Recipes Are Supportive for Pancreatic Cancer Patients

Protein smoothies and nutrient-dense snack options can be especially supportive for pancreatic cancer patients because they provide flexible, manageable ways to increase protein, calorie intake, and nutrient density throughout the day, particularly when full meals may feel difficult. Maintaining muscle mass and body weight can be challenging during treatment, making consistent access to protein-rich snacks and beverages especially valuable. Smoothies can be easier to tolerate when appetite is low, or chewing feels difficult, while snacks like eggs, chickpeas, nuts, and protein powders help deliver essential amino acids needed for immune support and recovery.
